Here's the more serious take on the "Got Milk?" Ad, the inspiration behind Jamukha's got milk.
I rarely do fine arts as it really takes a while to do, this one takes me so much time. Firstly because while I was painting I am capturing video as well, too much for my PC though. Yes, I am creating a video tutorial, so you guys can see how this painting is done and see the real tricks I do. Comments and Critics are welcome. I'll be uploading the video tutorial this weekend. I’ve known Xiaman for more than a decade now. We at Micronet were pioneers in the 3D at that time. Our company was the first 3D game developer in the Philippines 12 years ago, but time had past so many great artist had emerge since then. However, Xiaman’s works are still outstanding among others because of his skills, creativity and ingenuity at work. Here's a close-up look at the vector artwork with pencil study. My basic goal is to achieve a jelly like surface for Jamukha using gradient and mesh tools in Adobe Illustrator. The biggest challenge is making the beam of light because vector always produce sharp edges, this work is created using combination of gradient, mesh objects, preset brush tools, transparency masking and all the trick in my hat! All will be dealt in the coming tutorial, still have to find time to write it though

The idea came from my friend, I said I was doing a digital painting and he thought I was doing an alien, I said no but it's a good idea so here it is!
The artwork is done using Adobe Illustrator CS2 with Wacom Tablet. I am currently doing an advance tutorial about this piece. Actually almost all the techniques I know in Illustrator is applied here so if you guys want to learn check my tutorials.

I am currently doing an advance character designsing in Adobe Illustrator. Attached here is a teaser look. Remember this is vector illustration not pixels, therefore what is expected in the tutorial are techniques in combining elements and functions in Adobe Illustrator.
